Amy brings more than 25 years in banking and lending to NSDC, where she landed nearly five years ago when a longtime colleague, Paola Gonzalez — now NSDC's EVP and COO — recruited her as a closing specialist.
What closing actually involves
The moment SBA approves a loan, Amy takes over. She prepares closing documents, coordinates borrower signatures, opens escrow, manages construction draws and insurance, and schedules signings and recording before submitting each file for SBA funding. Once a loan is assigned to her she takes it from start to finish, turning an approval into real capital.
