SBA 504 Lender of the Year, again
NSDC was again recognized as the 2025 SBA 504 Certified Development Company Lender of the Year, first place for the State of Nevada.
A policy change worth knowing about
Effective July 4, 2026, the SBA clarified a policy that expands borrowing power. Under Policy Notice 5000-879058, a borrower's outstanding balance on a 7(a) loan no longer reduces the maximum available under the 504 program. Qualified businesses can access both sequentially. The update also confirms a single 504 project can include multiple eligible assets financed at the same time. Eligibility and limits remain subject to SBA requirements and review.
