Machines need a floor you own
Machining capacity is bolted down. Three-phase power, floor loading and ceiling height decide what a shop can make, and a manufacturer who upgrades a leased building is improving someone else’s asset. The 504 program exists in large part for this.
“They made it easy enough for me to get the financing. I wasn’t in a position to do a traditional loan, so the program that they offered helped me get the financing I needed so we could expand and get into a bigger piece of property.”
